Bike powered movie debut 4th October 2009 @ The Greyhound



15 people came along to the first Transition Drinks evening! We talked about what Transition is about, shared ideas about how to increase local food production eg garden sharing, engaging with local farmers and commercial growers, using communal, local council owned land more productively?  transport - what about setting up a local car/bike/walk share website to support residents to reduce car journeys; and lots more!
Transition drinks and chat will continue on the second Thurs of month from 8pm @ Greyhound

Fruit picking walk, Sunday 13th Sept...
Around 20 adults and children turned out to pick blackberries and rose hips along the river . We shared lots of chat and tips about making jams and jellies, cordials and more....offers to share recipes and books and ideas about setting up a food blog to share  ideas and learning.....
