An 'Open Eco Homes Network'? Are you interested in installing micro generation technology ? Or are you already doing so but would like to do even more? Solar thermal, PVs, ground or air source heat pumps... Or perhaps you are doing all you can to make your home more energy efficient and low carbon/cheaper to run...with insulation, double glazing, installing a wood burner, draught proofing and tank lagging, or installing water conservation measures eg rain water harvesting for toilet flushing or recycling grey water...
While we were unsuccessful in our application to the Low Carbon Challenge we would still like to set up an Eco Homes Network and run an 'open eco homes' type of event - a bit like Open Gardens.
